The 2005 Annie's Lane Riesling is pale straw with vibrant green hues. The nose showsthe classic, elegant characters of Clare Valley Riesling, lime, citrus and fresh springflowers supported by a steely, mineral, flinty backbone on the lingering finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or as the perfect accompaniment to freshly shucked oysters. Impressive length and natural acidity will allow for graceful aging over the next 5 to 8 years.

I have never been a big fan of Riesling, but Annie's Lane changed my mind. Slight mineral flavors and a brightness from sniff to sip. Perfect for a summer evening on the patio.
