A rich, textured white wine from 100% Pinot Noir, that has a backbone of acidity, a voluptuous mid-palate and along, creamy finish. Aroma: baked apples, caramel, butterscotch, fennel, cardamom, candied ginger, vanilla wafer. Flavor: yellow plum, yellow cherry, ripe pineapple, ripe fig, candied ginger, crème brulée. Finish: rich, plush mid-palate, with lingering, creamy acidity. Pair with butter poached lobster or fennel rubbed roast chicken. 364 cases made. 2011 vintage rated 90 points by Wine Spectator.
