A peculiar spicy wine, with a hint of sulfur/egg on the nose. Tastes a bit like bacon and dirt.
50 % premsal (indigenous variety) 50 % callet Rating 87 points by Robert Parker in the Wine Advocate. Quibia is a young white wine, fermented and aged on its lees to produce a fresh and elegant varietal wine. Wine harvest using small 10kg boxes with refrigeration upon arrival at the winery. Manual selection of the best grapes on a bed of dry ice to prevent oxidation. Cold maceration. This straw-colored wine offers a slight aroma of sea salt, white fruits essences, and a hint of tropical aromas. Dry, concentrated, and spicy on the palate, it is well-refreshing and lengthy in the end. Alcohol 12,5%. Ph. 3,4.
