Angove's Nine Vines Grenache Shiraz Rosé 2007
Bright Pink this wine stands for Australian sunshine, and warm days by the beach. Vibrant raspberry and cherry aromas combine with fresh fruit salad and lovely crispness on the palate. A dry finish lends the wine to food, matching any grilled fish or meat and the juiciest tomato salad.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Deep blush color. Light fruity nose. The first sip has a spicy bite but it finishes smooth. Fruity strawberry, raspberry taste. Very good. I will purchase again.
Hesitant to try an Australian wine, this Rose made of 70% Grenache and 30% Shiraz was just average at best. It was very very tannic and tasted more of the stems and skins than any real flavor from these varietals. No, not European in style, which we like, just not a good bottle of wine. CP.
