Very dark color, but right. Incredible aromas of crushed strawberries, raspberries and flowers. Full-bodied, with beautifully silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. A true beauty. The 2000 Conteisa, made principally from the Cerequio vineyard in La Morra, is classically fresh, balsamic, and floral, ample and solid on the palate with polished tannins, fine solidity, and much focus on its lengthy close. Drink: 2005-2020.
