Angelo Bufani Pinot Grigio 2010

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

Scents of lemon meringue fill the glass, while citrus zest, fresh lime and minerals awaken the senses. Serve with shrimp scampi.

In typical wine and food pairing tradition, the delicate confidence of Pinot Grigio provides perfect support for the delicacy and airiness of seafood and light appetizers. One envisions sitting on a patio while watching a European sun set over darkening mountains, shrimp and linguine twirled on a fork in the right hand while the left balances a glass of pale-golden Pinot Grigio shimmering in the fading glow of the day. And what wine could make this vision a reality? Try Angelo Bufani's deliciously light, crisp Pinot Grigio and prepare to experience a similar transportation... try it in your backyard and save the airfare.

Medium-bodied and a little more intensely flavored than most Pinot Grigio. It's almost a dead-ringer for an unoaked Chardonnay with its green apple and citrus zest aromas and flavors. It would hold its own with a flavorful dish like shrimp scampi.

A light, mellow white with bright lemon, white cranberry and starfruit flavors. Crisp and delicious, perfect for patio sipping.
