California Pinot for people who do not like Pinot. Simply terrific. I am going to go buy a case right now because this value is unmatched. My history with Cali Pinot is sketchy at best and stumbling upon this at my local shop was a true revelation. The ultimate thanksgiving wine.

It is very hard to beat this Pinot for 10 bucks. Varietally correct but with more body and complexity than even some higher-priced Pinots. It's fairly easy drinking and a dream with food. My house Pinot.

A nice wine with real varietal character, a smooth mouthfeel, crisp acids and ripe flavors of raspberries, cherries and mocha. Try this as a first course leading up to the expensive stuff.

This is the second label of Martin Ray, allowing you to enjoy their high end style of wine at an everyday sipper price. Fresh aromas of red raspberries and cherries lead to a wine with gentle strawberry notes and warm vanillin oak. This wine is very easygoing with a bright demeanor.

Continues this winery's streak of offering a good value under this label. The wine is dry and silky, with pleasant cola, rhubarb, coffee and cherry flavors that are offset by crisp acids.

A lighter style, with fresh, snappy black cherry and blackberry fruit that's vibrant and refreshing. Drink now.

Winemaker's Notes:

Our Angeline Pinot Noir is produced from fruit that abounds with intense fruit and rich aromas. By “cold soaking” the crushed grapes and fermenting at moderate temperatures, bright fruit flavors are extracted from the grape, without harsh tannins. This Pinot Noir is aged in French oak barrels for ten months and has a red, dark brick color with intense aromas of black cherry highlighted by earthy clay and sweet spice. Fresh, ripe flavors of cranberry and dried red cherries with a soft berry mouth and a light finish. Food & Wine Pairing: Try our Angeline Pinot Noir with Portobello mushroom burgers or a lightly seared salmon fillet or pasta with a tomato-based sauce.
