cinnamon and vanilla sit atop a plummy base
90+/100 points Great color with a clear rim to a deep ruby red. Bright bouquet of ripe cherries, earthiness and grapefruit. Excellent tannins allow this wine to fully coat the mouth without being heavy. Mild oaking encourages strong flavors of wild cherry and lemongrass, with a slightly bitter note on the back end (not undesirable). Higher marks would have been awarded for a longer and stronger finish. Excellent buy for $12.
Pretty tannic for a pinot, mostly flavor and aromasof strawberry and a slight aroma of vanilla as well
This is my first review so there is a good chance that no one thinks the same as me. Here is what I thought. It was a very light red. Clear color. Delicate bouquet that I couldn't quite pick up. Very thin and pretty smooth. Had a subtle spice with hints of plum, berries, and apple. Overall, I thought it was very good and would recommend it.
Updating last review. After letting the wine breathe, it became a lot sweeter and gained a much more powerful slightly spiced berry flavor. I still felt the wine was very good.
