The nose opens with waves of black fruits, along with hints of anise, olive, and smoke. The palate is medium-bodied and suave, with sweet ripe fruit, excellent balance, and medium length. Ripe tannins cry out for butterflied leg of lamb, marinated with garlic and rosemary, and grilled rare.
