Andre Andrieux & Fils Gigondas 2007

Member Review by Scott CSW:

A fab glass of wine. Fruit forward Grenache and Syrah blend. Cheeries, red fruit and cooking spices with a nice emphasis on peppar. Produced in Europe but, can stand a New world palate with head held high. Well worth the mid $30s price tag at my wine shop. I bought a couple cases and now share it with friends to allow them a little something outside the norms.

That said, André remains a popular alternative, and since its inception is now available in a wide variety of styles including rosé and from dry to sweet.  Read less
