Andeluna Reserve Chardonnay 2005
This is a very good Argentina Chardonnay, particularly for the price. This is much like a California style Chardonnay, rich with buttery overtones but not too much oak. The Andeluna reserve was formerly (I believe) produced under the name Familia Reina Reserve. The style remains the same, however.Add winemaker's notes
The combination of great vineyards growing classic varietals with world-class winemaking creates flavors and wines that cannot be found anywhere else. Premium quality wine starts with premium quality grapes, and this is the essence of Andeluna. French grape varieties, Argentine soils, Italian ancestry, world class winemaking, American drive, the latest in technology and a team of people who all seek the same goal: to make the greatest wines in the world.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
