Andeluna Cabernet Sauvignon Mendoza Alicura 2004

Member Review by sobermann:

Tannic to a fault - almost bitter. Might be better with age but for an '04 it should be at least drinkable. Perhaps a bad bottle - this is just one sample. Very disappointing. UPDATE: After finishing 1/2 bottle of this Cab, I'm afraid I was too harsh. After about 1 hour, it opened up nicely and became much more palatable. Still young, might benefit from 2 more years in the cellar. But all in all a respectable Cab. I'd decant for 30 min or more before serving guests.
