What a difference a year or more can make. This has matured exceptionally well. Kind of wild nose full of nuanced diesel, candlewax, pineapple, apple stem, and herb notes with hints of stones and heavy floral overtones. This is dry and taut on entry with fine acid that is gently covered by the light fleshiness of ripe fruit. Lovely peach, lemon and pineapple flavors in the mouth are balanced by a touch of mineral tension and a light bittersweet tone reminiscent of baking apple skins. The bittersweet sensation continues on the moderately long finish yielding to a nice river stone note and ending with lemon citrus flavors. Damn this is good, it’s dry but well fruited and complex with signs of maturity over that fruit. The finish gains fine length with air. Looks like a winery exclusive, $20 and totally worth it! http://amityvineyards.com/product/store/category/17 92pts
Mmm...appley goodness! This is so wonderfully floral with a tinge of ripe peach on the nose. Crisp and balanced acidity on entry with a bit of sourness on the finish. I think I like the bouquet the best about this wine!
A great, drinkable Riesling. Just a tad sweet and a bit sour, very well balanced. A great wine to pair with food. Currently drinking it with a sourdough pretzel and even that combination is delicious!
have a dry dusty aroma followed faithfully by a stony, gravelly taste. A bit dry for my taste, but very drinkable
