Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Sunnyside Vineyards owned & operated by Tom & Lucy Wisniewski, is our oldest supplying vineyard. Planted in 1970, Sunnyside Vineyards has been a central component in most of our Winemakers' Reserve Pinot Noirs. A very complex nose is full of currant, red cherries, and black pepper. It is beautifully structured with lots of red fruit and spice in the finish. Expect this wine to continue maturing over the next 10 years. This is our fourth LIVE and Salmon Safe certified Pinot noir from Sunnyside Vineyards. LIVE stands for Low Input Viticulture and Enology. It is a voluntary participation organization whose goal is to promote sustainable viticulture. It provides vineyards and wineries with official recognition of their efforts to produce wine in a more environmentally aware and safe manner. SALMON SAFE provides vineyards and wineries with official recognition of their efforts to protect salmon habitat from both chemicals and erosion. Expect this wine to continue maturing over the next 10 years. 203 cases were produced. 2006 Sunnyside Single Vineyard Fact Sheet Oak: Neutral + 4.5% New Oak
