Made from 100% Aglianico harvested from the Montemarano vineyard in November. The vineyard is located 1,980 feet above sea level and consists of chalk and clay soils. The grapes were crushed and macerated for 16-18 days. After fermentation the wine was aged in Slovenian barrels for 12 months. The Aglianico Monsignore is a robust wine well-balanced in its tannins and generous fruit.
