Ambo Pinot Nero

Member Review by JDR:

color : very light, almost transparent raspberry-red nose : very fruity - cherry, strawberry, raspberry, littlebit earthy-stone touch. mouth : thin, silky, round and soft tannines and a watery palette of the same fruits. finish : almost none, just like you had a bottle of raspberry-flavoured water. This pinot-noir blend smells like a rosé-wine, but the body is very thin. Really a waste of effort by the winemakers, especially because it's a blend.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
