Amayna Sauvignon Blanc Leyda Valley 2009

External Review by Astor Wines & Spirits:

Leyda, a sub-region of San Antonio, is located in a valley between the Coastal Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean, running parallel to Chile's Central Valley. This wine has lots of tropical fruit, dominated by white pineapple and white flowers. A dry, distinctively New World Sauvignon Blanc.

The poor soils and gentle ocean breezes create tremendous aromatic potential and the great intensity reflected in the wine's floral aromas and fresh, exotic fruit. A full, balanced wine with personality and exquisite elegance. Serving suggestion: Ideal with goat cheese, shellfish, oysters and mild fish. - Winery
