A stunning, powerful wine that manages to be both big and elegant simultaneously. The nose exudes a rich mixture of herbs, bacon, chocolate, plum, nitroglycerin, and acetone. The palate explodes with a savory array of thick chewy flavors balanced by tannins that clean, dry and structure the arrangement. Notes of sweet maple bacon are surrounded by chocolates, raspberry, plum and toast, leading to a lengthy luscious finish. In a league of its own.
