a rich red wine, with an almost creamy texture. Amaretto di Saronno is an infusion of apricot kernel oil with absolute alcohol, burnt sugar, as well as certain fruits and herbs. It has a nice characteristic bittersweet of almonds and the most popular mixed drink would have to be the Amaretto sour, made with 3 parts Amaretto and 1 part sour mix.
