tart but also sweetened with strawberries with cherry undertones, its Rich red cherry color delivers an earthy, complex flavor. I'd say it's mostly dry with some oak and has a nice texture and is balanced and shows a great bright berry finish. Thought it went well with chicken meatballs and carrots.

I don't see where this wine has any finesse whatsoever. Tart, untamed acidity, decent fruit up front that degrades into a messy alcohol laden burn finish. Unstructured end with tart cranberry being the takeaway. More like a bad Nebbiolo. Highly disagree with the positive reviews on this one.

Bright translucent ruby red with slightly pink rim. Aromas of ripe strawberry sweet cherry cranberry and spice complement the floral framework and sweet earth notes on the nose. The palate is medium bodied and possesses a gripping acidity. A red berry fruit profile dominates the mid palate along with flavors of cardamom smoked spices and duck fat which lead into a pleasant finish. Enjoy over the next 5-8 years. Jeff Loo.

From winemaker Gary Farrell, Alysian Russian River Pinot Noir has characteristic dark fruit and lavender aromatics, hallmarks of Russian River Pinot Noir. The wine has a depth and richness which we find very appealing.

Rich, deep red cherry, earthy and baking spice flavors, complex; silky texture; good structure and balance; long finish. Silky, bright Pinot Noir. Pinot Report. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2009 Alysian Russian River Pinot Noir 750ml
