Light gold steely almost. The nose is a revelation for sherry wines showing pear, peach, and other haunting fruits that are difficult to pick out. Very dry in the mouth with an amazingly soft lush acidity. On the palate flavors of candied pear, light salt air, and a lingering soft finish make this one of the most fun wines I have tried in a long time. Bravo. 5/5 [NR]

Light yellow gold in color. The nose show's subtle wood notes, and light almond hints. Delicate melon and light citrus come in towards the end as it opens. Soft in the mouth with a gentle creaminess and rich nutty finish. Light steely notes at the end with a bit of the classic salt air. As it opens you start to see the melon and citrus notes but the nutty wood really is the main focus. Really a beautiful little wine though starting to show it's age some with the delicate mineral/fruit notes fading. 4/5 [NR]
