Alvear Fino NV

Winemaker's Notes:

Subtle, very delicate aromas of fresh bread and almonds. Round but shapely; easygoing and fresh. Lovely shape. Not at all austere.

Almost fully clear and lacking in color. The nose a a delicate peach aroma with restrained mineral notes and a faint nuttiness. Ethereal. Softr and creamy in the mouth with light salt notes, and a medium acidity. The finish and palate show delictate notes of salted almonds and hazelnuts. 3.5/5 [NR]

The non-vintage Fino possesses a light straw color in addition to a crisp, earthy, nutty nose, and a dry, slightly bitter, but fresh, zesty finish.

A stunning after dinner sherry from a 1927 solera.

From the small Andalusian town of Montilla comes a delicate and elegant Fino with fresh aromas of yeast and citrus-tropical fruits. With its crisp, clean finish, it is an excellent apéritif and is an ideal partner for tapas, the Spanish finger-food.
