Winemaker's Notes:

Launched in 2008 to great acclaim, the els Pyreneus range throws away the old political borders to unite some of the most excitng terroirs on both the French and Spanish sides of the Pyrenees. The wines are made by top winemaker Jean Marc Lafage and are sourced from old vines in Roussillon, Emporda and Calatayud. Despite the wines all reflecting their individual terroirs, they are linked by a fantastic intensity of fruit and minerality that marks them out from the crowd. This Rose is an attractive strawberry pink colour with violet hues. It is clean, refreshing and fruity with intense raspberry aromas. It is a food-friendly wine, pairing with grilled prawns and fish kebabs as well as with burgers, Chinese spare ribs, and spicy Tandoori chicken. An all-round winner!
