Altamura Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

I sell this at the restaurant by saying that if velvet could be bottled, it'd be this wine! it's dark and lush with a deep inky nature that just melts over the tongue. the fact that it's limited production shows in the fact that every bottle i've had has lived up my standards consistently.

"I was blown away by the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, which spent almost 34 months in 70% new French oak barrels. The wine is beautifully impressive, with a deep ruby/purple color and notes of loamy soil intermixed with creme de cassis, cedar, and licorice.
