Altadonna Vermentino Italy Tuscany White 2009
Harvested by hand in mid to late September. Upon reception in the cellar, the grapes were pressed with cold skin contact over 12 hours in stainless steel tanks at 10°C. Alcoholic fermentation followed over a 12-day period at 16°C with periodic aerations carried out. Aging took place in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. The wine was filtered and fined, then bottled and cellared an additional month prior to release.
