What to Expect
Chasselas is the most important white grape in Switzerland, where it is frequently labeled as Fendant. It produces a rather full-bodied white with moderate levels of acidity. Typical notes of flowers and honey accent the quince and pear fruits of the palate.

Nose of light apple, citrus, and tropical fruit. Light in the mouth with taste of sour apple and citrus. Good acid bite, but not harsh. Some mineral tang. Might pair well with light spicy white fish or maybe a similarly prepared white meat, e.g. pork chop. Color is almost clear, a light straw.
