Food Pairings for Alois Lageder Tannhammer Chardonnay-Sauvignon Alto Adige
Brilliant straw-yellow colour with a green shimmer. Pronounced, complex aroma; impressions of ripe yellow fruit (yellow plum, pear) combined with mineral and floral notes. Quite rich though elegant flavour, well structured, harmonious, with a pungent, fresh acidity to match the depth of the fruit on the palate. Long lasting with a refined mineral twist in the aftertaste. Under proper storage conditions, this wine’s aging potential is at least 5 to 7 years.
Aged 4 months in Steel.
