With enticing aromas of lavender and berry, this is rich, supple and elegant on the palate, with a vibrancy to the fruit and a suppleness to the texture. Long and fruity on the finish. Drink now through 2011.

Deep red. Smoky oak and black raspberry on the nose. Lively red berry flavors are firmed by juicy acidity and given depth by a slow-building dark chocolate quality. The finish features an interesting Campari-like bitterness and a lingering note of cracked pepper. Not a particularly easy style, but nicely suited to strongly seasoned red meat dishes.

A dry, herbal style, with chewy tannins and a glimmer of ripe cherry and blueberry fruit that finishes with a mineral and pebble aftertaste. Drink now through 2008.

This is a California Pinot Noir at its finest! Richard Sanford, founder of Sanford Winery, is the producer of this exquisite Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hills. The wine has a beautiful floral nose and is ruby red in color. Delicate nuances of strawberry and raspberry dance upon oneandrsquo;s palate, ending with a long and luscious finish. Medium-bodied with a hint of spice, it is balanced and rounded out with soft tannins. Alma Rosa Winery andamp; Vineyards practices and promotes organic farming, sustainable agriculture, ecologically-responsible packaging and green building. Pair this wine with blackened snapper or baked ham with spiced apples. Fabulous!

Spicy and bright, this wine's black pepper and light strawberry tones have some tension to the structure. The tannins have an earthy grip, a warm edge for quail roasted with wild mushrooms.

Continuing in the style of prior vintages, our 2007 Pinot Noir La Encantada Vineyard again utilizes the two clones of 667 and Swan as our raw materials. The result is a plush wine that balances brilliant raspberry-like fruit tones with a deeper, darker, cherry-based note. There are floral and spice elements as well, notably violet and clove, as well as a smokiness and vanilla component from aging in French Oak barrels. Very nice now, this wine should only improve across the next three to four years.

Unmistakably Pinot Noir, our 2008 Vin Gris is brimming with fresh fruit and floral aromatics. Rose petal, cherry and strawberry lead from the nose to palate. Completely dry and crisp, this is 100% Pinot Noir from organically grown grapes.
