Rich plum flavor, a typical malbec style wine. While I liked this wine I thought it was a little over priced compared to similar Argentinian malbecs. It's appeal is the mysterious label.
"Dark, dark, we all go into the dark..." Black cherry/berry/cassis notes, along with hints of dark chocolate & sweet spice. A dark, brooding finish lasts & lasts. 94pts.
I loved this wine. Dark, very full-bodied. Goes well with a cold night in front of the fireplace and a good thriller.
I love this wine. It is very full bodied and has a peppery taste.
Beautiful, full-bodies, very delicious wine that was so, so smooth to drink. It made such a lasting impression that I am currently looking for a vendor to purchase a case of it on-line.
Welcome to the dark side. This wine is as flavorful as it is dark, with layers of berry, cassis, spice, and a slight dark cocoa finish. Did I mention it was dark? Like a thunderstorm - plenty to appreciate.
Really like this wine. Full bodied, but not too dry and not too sweet. Reminds me of Orin Swift "the Prisoner".

Alma Negra means black soul in English. While the label encourages one to drink the whole bottle, flavors of raspberry and liquorice are noticeable even from the top.
