Complex, spicy and peppery aromas with considerable depth of fruit character. Nicely structured but without any hard edges. Balances nicely with fine, ripe tannic support.
Is this giant the most likable red in our store? Fans of Shiraz will find what they're looking for in this wine's dense blueberry-tinged flavors, but those new to the grape (or to red wines in general) will love the bright fruitiness, smooth taste, and clean finish.
Starts mute, but aromas build to butterscotch, cranberry and raisin scone. This really takes shape on the palate, with summer-ripe raspberry, white pepper and grilled meats. Finishes with a note of sweet green herbs.
