Alice White Pinot Noir 2008
Presentation: Red and black "critter label"; unappealing to a traditionalist. Pour: Brownish red, gives the appearance of an older wine. Light lacing. Nose: Appealing. Black cherry candy and medicine. Not too sweet and not too powerful. Leaves you wanting to continue inhaling. Taste: Less sweet than it smells. Nice amount of tannins provide balance mid-palate on. Warming. Tannins are stronger in the finish. Dry, light but noticeable tannic aftertaste with light sweetness remaining.
WELL,.. err..i have not had it yet..but in a week perhaps..lol just wanted to say that the picture on the bottle was the selling point for me...it just looks tasty. my real rating will have to wait...sorry i am new here..:-) ps. hope the soccerroos do well in the world cup..but not better then the USA...
