Spicey and distinct. Not bad for a merlot, with good complexity. Though the spices tend to overlap a bit, its a nice change from the overly common jammy and berry saturated reds. The tannins are not a soft as I may have liked, but the retention of oak amidst the spice was a nice tough. I say give it a try.

Well-balanced, with plum and mild oak notes, and a velvety-smooth finish. Best served with: Full flavored beef, veal, or chicken dishes, as well as pasta and cheese.
A light-bodied mevushal red wine that is dry and full of plum flavors. Excellent before and during a meal.
