Even though 61% of the grapes for this rich Viognier came from their own Destiny Ridge estate vineyard, Owner Jarrod Boyle calls this wine "Crawford" after the vineyard where the the other 39% is sourced. The Crawford's generations of farming and meticulous vineyard management continually produce outstanding fruit and the Viognier for this 2009 is no exception. The wine shows rich flavors with lively acidity and a dry, beautifully lingering finish. It received 91 points from Wine Enthusiast Magazine who said "Very fresh and juicy, this mouth-pleasing Viognier mixes peaches and grapefruit, zippy acidity, with highlights of lemon zest. It’s beautifully balanced, detailed and refreshing." Very Limited!
