Alexander Laing Single Vineyard Old Vine Grenache 2009

Member Review by jaywalia:

This was a lovely wine. On the nose it wasnt too strong. Slight hint of jam, a subtle sweetness which carried through on the palate. I wasnt aware of what I had put in my mouth at the first sip but I knew it was good, the decadence is one that needs to be experienced. Lovely ruby red colour, mild tannins and a pleasant mouthfeel. Starts off subtly sweet and tails off with a very slight hint of bitterness. A new favorite for sure.
