Tasting Notes: Winemaker: Rui Veladas. "Ruby red in colour. Nice aromas of fruit with a touch of herbs and oak toast. Very smooth and easy despite the presence of tannins. Well rounded and finishes very pleasantly. Straight forward everyday red wine. Good. 84 points."in Personal Tasting Notes by José Carlos Costa. Percentage Grape: Trincadeira, Aragonês, Castelao and Moreto. Type of Harvest: Manual Vinification Method: De stemming and crushing followed by fermentation at 28°C. During fermentation the maceration is carried out by "pumping over" process. Fermentation lasts for 8 days. 50% matured in Portuguese Oak casks with the remaining in stainless steel tanks. Type of Wood: Portuguese Oak Alcohol Percentage: 14.5 % Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l Total Acidity: 5,1 g/l
