Food Pairings for Albariño Rias Baixas DOC
The nose was reminiscent of summer days with watermelons, fresh sliced apples and floral undergrowth. On the palate, a refreshing wave of fruits washed over the senses with a hint of sweetness and a perfect dose of refreshing acidity. The hardest thing about tasting this wine is that I just wanted to keep drinking it.
You know, I really loved this. It's pale cherry in color, slightly cloudy, and almost the color of a very dark Spanish rose. Whew! Aromas of barnyard, manure, and fertilizer lose there overpowering quality quickly, but the smell of topsoil remains to accompany the raspberry notes. Sour cherry and pomegranate seed flavors. Best with food--sausages, cheese. A good red for chilling slightly in summertime.

a honesty wine.
Had a 2005 at Thanksgiving and it was spectacular! A lighter Cab/Sav, but incredibly silky and nice fruit with a light finish that went well with the dinner. Finished another bottle later with a great cigar!
mette's mirabelle rates 6 glasses on a scle of 5 glasses
Great wine with good tannins. Full bodied and good lenght in mouth. Strong aromas of leather and ripe raspberry.

Mature flavours with earthy and dark liquorice tones and hints of fresh prunes. A deliciously smooth palate with excellent weight and a long, elegant finish. Der Pinot Noir verleiht dem Wein Kraft und Struktur, die Gamay-Trauben die Fruchtigkeit und Frische.
This un-oaked Chardonnay is full of pear, melon, and butter flavors with refreshing acidity for balance. - Winery
Der Wein hat eine verhaltene Duftnote. Am Gaumen entwickelt er schöne, feine Fruchtaromen und einen eleganten Körper.
In 1990 Andrea Crocenzi purchased the centuries old 40 hectares Fattoria Laila estate which is situated in the Cesano Valley of the Marche, overlooking the Adriatic Sea on the East coast of Italy. He invested heavily in improved vineyard planting and together with Oenologist Lorenzo Landi turned this into one of the most innovative wineries of the Marche. High density planting of 8,000 vines per hectare, which is very unusual in this region, was introduced in order to obtain wines of greater concentration, with a style which is unique to this winery. Total production is 130,000 bottles which are enjoyed in may corners of the world. Grapes : 100% Verdicchio Region : Italy / Marche / Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Maker : Lorenzo Landi Notes : Crisp, dry and satisfying with a long mineral and fruity finish. Feiner, zarter Duft nach Walderdbeeren. Delikat, weich, angenehm, intensiv fruchtig.

This wine is made with grapes from mature vines and then aged for 12 months in oak. As a result, it has a deep purple color with rich aromas and flavors of ripe black fruit. A velvety, elegant texture with a chewy, spicy finish.
