This could be John Albans best Viognier yet. Heis always been one of my favorites and one of the reasons Viognier became my go-to white wine, whatever time of year. The 2008 vintage exhibits notes of orange marmalade interwoven with honeysuckle and tropical fruits. Fresh, medium to full-bodied, powerful, pure and rich. This is one of the top Viogniers made in California. Will age well over the next 6 years. A very elegantly styled wine that will pair well with rich seafoods, try it with fresh lump crab meat salad or grilled halibut with a mango salsa.
