Alapay Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon(2003)

WineFrom fruit harvested on the eastside in Paso Robles. There are forward aromas of cherry, berry and classical varietal notes of cedar and tobacco. Black pepper and mint on the nose. Full-bodied with superb structure, it has intense fruit and cocoa flavors and a lingering, soft vanilla finish. (446 cases produced)

Alapay Cellars is a hidden gem of a winery in the Central Coast of California in the town of Avila Beach. This Cabernet is elegant and silky. The tannins are softened to release the flavors of the fruit without overpowering the hint of pepper and spice. The winemaker, Scott, is fantastic and makes you feel right at home. He treats his customers well because he is really down to earth. Don't wait, take a road trip and try this wine for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
