Alamos Torrontes 2006
Nicolás Catena Zapata is made from a selection of the best lots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec in the Catena Zapata Vineyards. The first Nicolás Catena Zapata was made in 1997, a phenomenal Cabernet Sauvignon vintage in Mendoza. This wine is only produced in outstanding vintage years.

The Agrelo Vineyard is an ideal spot for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The high density planting of over 4,950 vines/ha (2,000 vines /acre), the high altitude climate (at 940m/3,100' above sea level) and the use of controlled irrigation allow us to grow grapes with remarkably full and concentrated flavors.
