Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Flavors of ripe apples, apricot and peaches, with layers of tropical fruit in this Alamos Chardonnay. Additional flavors and aromas of brown spice and butterscotch from the oak aging round out this balanced Chardonnay.

Winemaker's Notes:

Alamos Chardonnay 2011 shows a straw-yellow color with light shades of green. The nose offers ripe tropical fruit aromas with citrus and floral notes. The mouthfeel is full and rich, with concentrated ripe pear and fig fruit mingled with vanilla and sweet spice oak flavors. The finish is clean and fresh with bright, crisp acidity.
