Alain Gras St. Romain 2009
Beautiful ruby colour, similar to raspberries. A sweet smell with a good intensity which emphasizes the oak and fruity smell with a light animal touch. The taste offers a tight wine with the fat of its flesh and is a well-structured wine with delicate tannins. It will be perfect with all red meat, grilled, roasted or cooked in sauce, or with small game such as quails, pheasants or partridge.
This is a 12 hectare Burgundy estate spread over the three appellations of Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses and Meursault making a range of red and white wines. Alain Gras and his family have been in business here since 1979
