Agricola Punica Isola Dei Nuraghi Barrua 2005
this wine is a baby. rustic grainy tannins that really provide a dusty gorgeous finish. even after a two hour decant it is still very closed. you can tell that this will turn complex and open up immensely with time. I suggest holding it for a year or two which is exactly what I am going to do. I'll revisit in a year.
Very rich and delicious. Still relatively young. I would think that 2-5 years of cellaring would benifit it greatly. The most amazing thing about it was on the very 1st sip there was a profound banana flavor. 4 out of 5 tasters in our group spontaneously descibed it the same. No off putting at all, but certainly unique in my experience.
