Add your reviewSurprisingly - The American oak was very present providing a vanilla rich nose. As well there were currants and expresso notes. Starting to show some secondary aromas of leather. On the palate it is a lush wine with dusty tannins and a bit of jamminess. Medium to low acidity. Really held together over the mid palate and had a long spicey finish. I think this could gain by a few more years in the cellar but is drinking very well now.

Tasting Notes :Expressive aromas of black currants and coffee follow through on the muscular palate, amplified by anise, tobacco and mineral notes. When the tannins give way, the finish is clean and long. A full-throttle red that achieves power without ever losing control. Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignane and Tempranillo. Best from 2006 through 2014.
