Tasting Notes: In has a very dark red cherry colour, bright. Very powerful in the nose, with tones of ripe fruit, liquorice, Mediterranean herbs and some vanilla notes from the oak, but very well-integrated in the fruit. In the mouth it is very rich, powerful and clean. It has a very long and round finish.
Percentage Grape: 95 % Tempranillo, 5% Graciano, grapes from our own vineyards located in the sub-region of Rioja Alavesa. These grapes have been selected carefully from vines with less than 4 bunches, and harvested at a moment of optimum ripeness.
Type of Harvest: The grapes read more...are destalked and after that they are sent to stainless steel vats where they ferment at controlled temperature of 28°C for 18 days. Then the wine is aged in new oak barrels for 24 months (depending on the year). 50% French and 50% American oak barrels. The wine rounds up in the bottle.
