Adirondack Winery Vibrant Viognier NV

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Smells a bit honeyed and nutty with notes of honeydew and pina colada. Bright and zesty on entry, this does not lack acid but at the same time is pretty well balanced. The fruit is light and fresh. A bit of pumpkin-like earthiness lies under light, herbal-scented orange cream. The finish is mouthwateringly fresh and fairly long if simple with succulent tangerine and lemon notes. Fun and eminently drinkable. 86pts

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
