Adelaida Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Member Review by jjknight38:

A decent and fair offering from the Paso Robles region, the '06 Cabernet weighs in at 15.1 %. To be fair, I didn't think the wine was worth the price but I did enjoy the flavor like the way you enjoy watching "Airplane" the movie. It doesn't taste like an elegant Cabernet you would expect in Northern California. But this is Paso Robles, kinda like the Wild West of the wine making world. The flavors were over ripe, jammy, and one dimensional but I still enjoyed it just the same. Adelaida wines are fun and the winery is full of knowledgeable people that have a passion for wine. If you can afford the more rare wines from Adelaida, I'm sure you will be pleased with the quality.
