Fascinating, strong rose with a strong nose of alluring aromas of spicy hard cheese, bubblegum, and hints of white floral. On the attack shows concentrated and centered flavors on the tongue. Mid-palate has sweet gummy berry fruit with apple bubblegum finish. Very interesting with good QPR. Body medium, acid medium minus, slightly frizzante, off-dry.

A blend of 70% Alvarinho (aka Albarino in Spain) and 30% Trajadura (aka Treixadura in Spain) from the Vinho Verde sub-region of Monção. The wine is a watery pale greenish color, with moderate aromas of jasmine flower, white peach, citrus zest and wet stone. This wine is dry, medium bodied with a slight effervescence, tart acidity and medium finish. On the palate I find flavorful amounts of green apple, unripe nectarine, lemon zest and pineapple. A fun easy drinking well balanced Vinho Verde with a touch of ever so tiny bubbles. Pair with a hot summer beach, ceviche, raw oysters, sushi, or if your having a tough day at work this beautiful wine should help put some of your worries behind. 3.5/5

Just returned from Portugal and found this wine in the supermarkets. Terrific and goes nicely with all fish dishes.

85% Alvarinho 15% Trejadura Light sparkle is evident when poured, though the color is pale and clear. Floral notes, peach flesh on the nose with some light almond. In the mouth there is a medium acidity with that light sparkle evident. The palate shows peach, pear, and lime. very nice. 3.5/5 [NR]
