Adega Coop. de Ponte de Lima Vinho Verde Branco Adamado 2006

Member Review by tommyvino:

A blend of mostly Loureiro (aka Loureira in Spain), complemented with Trajadura (aka Treixadura in Spain) and Pederna (aka Arinto). A pale yellow with a greenish tinge, very aromatic and youthful with notes of jasmine flowers, lemon and lime citrus zest. The wine is medium dry, light to medium bodied, with tart acidity, a medium finish, and a slight prickly effervescence. Very flavorful palate with pineapple, citrus fruit and granny smith apples. This is the perfect summer wine, easy to drink, low in alcohol, and dirt cheap at less than $10 a bottle so grab a few bottles and a bunch of friends. I suspect this wine would be delicious with sushi, seafood, and spicy tapas. A perfect wine for its class! 5/5
