Acrobat Oregon Pinot Gris 2009
Editorial Reviews for Acrobat Oregon Pinot Gris
This smells a little leesy and creamy at first with sweet pear fruits that feature hints of tangerine, melon and white flowers. On entry this is soft with kiwi fruit right up front followed by gently creamy tangerine and a slight honeycomb note on the mid-palate. It's a medium bodied white with a lovely soft texture that makes it easy to drink, yet there's a fine acid spine that makes this equally easy to pair with food. The finish is more orchard fruit toned with notes of pear and apricot as well as a nice steely tone on the zesty finale. This would pair perfectly with Chicken of Pork dishes that feature a bit of fruit, particularly orchard fruits like apricot. 89pts
