Low key on the nose, revealing mineral and salted meat tones that with air gains sweetness adding a toasty marshmallow tones and some baking spices to a gently brambly berry tone. A touch soft up front with an initial burst of peppery cinnamon that's followed by succulent raspberry/black raspberry fruit topped with a bit more peppery spice. This is a bit tight at this point, nicely medium-bodied but not very expressive in the mouth. The finish is a bit short with wood spice and soil tones obvious. 87pts
This is rather light and precise on the nose with frutti del bosco accented by some cigar box oak and vanilla tones. The oak is quite perfumed and helps lift some of the floral aspects of the nose, but also does add a bit of char here. A little compact in the mouth, this is tight and a bit rough around the edges with fairly aggressive tannins. The core of fruit shows some mulberry notes and a hint of black cherry, black raspberry topped with vanilla. There’s a nice spice note late on the palate from the wood and a hint of some herbal tones gain a gentle candied/medicinal note on the moderately long finish. Well put together and really interesting, though this could use some time to knit together fully. 88pts

The finish is a bit meaty and beefy, with some nicely integrated spice and licorice tones adding a base for the black berry fruit. This is showing plenty of oak at this stage, but it seems like a wine best consumed in its youth, so this is one for the oak spice lovers. 87pts

Brighter, riper fruit than other Sangiovese selections. This fruit is red and is mixed with a bit of funk and cheesiness! Light on the palette and a nice finish.
Very perfumed with lots of hints of vanilla, caramel, wood, and cacao. On the palate, green peppercorn, lots of ripe berries, cherry and black plums, with a soft hint of vanilla, and a bit of caramel. It was delicious to drink by it self, probably even better with some cheeses or meaty foods. I would definitely look for this wine.
